    This doesn't say what weight this top is. I have a 300weight black hoody, no zip, short body. It is just about the best item of clothing I own! It's heavy enough that most of the time it's good enough as a jumper just on its own. Get a bit cold, just pull the hood up. When it gets a bit colder I layer it up underneath a leather or down jacket. With something else on top it's fantastically warm, it's versatile and it looks good. I like having the short body so it's not poking out of the bottom of the jacket. It's also great out bush, it's not to heavy and it doesn't smell, wear it every day without smelling like a bunyip!
    I can't recommend this top enough, personally I really like the heavy weight but I imagine the lighter weight top would be quite good as well, just more of a layer rather than wearing it on it's own.

    If you receive a product and it is not to your liking, you are welcome to return the product, as long as it is has not been worn and is in original condition. Exchange or replacement of the garment can be made within 14 days of purchase.

    For the health and safety of all customers, the changing of products prohibits boxer shorts and briefs. If you have any queries regarding returning or exchanging products please contact our staff.

    Shipping policy - All orders are eligible for free shipping.

    Products will be shipped via Australia Post throughout Australia. Please allow 1-10 days for delivery.

    International purchases are sent via Australia Post International Registered Post. Shipping times vary depending on location, but are usually between 3 and 10 business days.     Warranty

    Smitten products are supported with a warranty on both manufacture and materials.

    Smitten will decide to replace products that have any defects that occur within normal wear and tear circumstances. This covers the failure of any seams or fabrics.

    Smitten retain the right to define standard wear and tear conditions. To ensure that Smitten can appropriately assess a product, it requires the customer to follow wash instructions and take all reasonable precautions to maintain the garment. Smitten will not replace items that have clearly been damaged through physical stress such as rips and split seams, or where inadequate treatment of a product is clear.

    Fabric FAQs

    Will the wool itch me?

    No - new generation superfine merino is super-soft and luxurious to wear, and shouldn’t itch or scratch.

     

    How do I care for the fabric?

    Gentle wash, dry out of direct sunlight, fold or hang garment, warm iron if preferred.

     

    Can I wash the garment in the washing machine?

    Yes you can – on a gentle cool wash with an approved wool garment powder or liquid. Do not bleach.

     

    Will it shrink in the wash?

    No – our merino wool is a stable product, therefore it should not shrink.

     

    Can I iron it?

    Yes you can - using a warm iron is fine, but often creases disappear when drying or fall out with body heat.

     

    Can I put my Smitten in the dryer?

    No – definitely not recommended.

     

    How long does it take to dry?

    Superfine merino dries very quickly. Once washed gently squeeze and hang out to dry. Can be dry in 30 minutes, great when travelling.

     

    Does it smell?

    The beauty of superfine merino is that it breathes exceptionally well, thus minimising odour.
