Our tips for packing light
Pick 4 or 5 basic monochrome pieces that work with your travel plans, and have versatility- like the Boat neck Maxi dress, Leggings and the Poncho, and Scarf.
Stick to an easy colour palette that works together, and the items mix and match easily - like Black and Ivory, Indigo and White, Charcoal and Flame, Flame and Black.
Choose lightweight clothing in natural fabrics that pack easily and don't crush.
Roll your clothing rather than fold.
Add colour with scarves and accessories- a few different scarves can make so many different outfits.
Smitten scarves can be worn so many different ways - see our Scarves - Pashmina, Travel Rug, Sun- shade, Shoulder protector, Super Woman cape.. the list goes on ;)
Don't stress when packing - this is supposed to be fun!!
As long as you've got your Passport and Credit card you'll be ok.
The Things Everyone Needs
There are three things that every traveller needs: A Poncho, Scarf, and a Chunky Sleeveless Wrap.
- Wear multiple ways
- Perfect addition to any outfit
- Comfortable and easy
The Base Layers
Choose versatile items that can be used either as base layers, or worn solo.
Go for simple colours and patterns that match the remainder of your travel wardrobe.
The Main Attraction - Dresses
Wear over your base layers.
Keep it simple — You'll only wear a couple of things no matter how much you want to pack!
Opt for a style that can layer over your base layers, but easily stands alone.
The Main Attraction - Tops
Choose a style that can layer over, or under your base layers.
Think sleeveless styles for climates with warm days and cool nights - remember layering is key!
The Main Attraction - Pants/Skirts
Match to your base layers.
Choose a style that is smart, yet casual and comfortable.
Match it to your shoes! If your shoes don't match your pants — you won't wear them!
Final Layer - Cardigans, Coats and Jackets
Choose a neutral colour that matches your base layers and main attractions.
Opt for the most practical style - crop for warmer climates and heavyweight for cooler climates.
Match the length to the items you plan to wear. Remember - you may need more than one!
