How's your AUGUST jogging along? We are nearly halfway through!!? Eeek! Hope life is life-ing ok - and that you've escaped all the dreaded viruses that winter often brings.
Hmmm, August, well we have two Leo birthdays in the house. But it feels like a strange month this year, as we approach the 12-month anniversary of Carl's accident, and how we're all learning to live alongside such a different and altered reality. Uncharted territory-and we have good days and plenty that are not so good...But we're doing it.
And it's making us resilient (surely?)

Happily, on Tuesday night, we were awarded the prize for Outstanding Fashion in the inaugural Local Tasmanian Business Awards. It was a wonderful surprise, firstly to be nominated, then a finalist, and then to win - so thank you very much to everyone involved- especially all of our fabulous customers.
It was definitely very cheering after such a challenging year, and importantly I want to recognise our Smitten team for helping it happen, predominantly Alice and Tara, thank you for all your dedication and hard work this last year while Carl and I have been in Melbourne.

MARY DRESS - A must have staple.
My daughter and I own several of these in different colours. It's the absolute best item of clothing we took on our trip across Europe. Kept us cool enough through Egypt, but warm in the cold winter countries. Not having to wash it after every use meant we could pack light.
