December 2025: It was our 35th Wedding Anniversary yesterday...

How are you? Hmmm, it's actually 1/3 into December🎄🎁 and the festive season has really started…
Hope you're doing ok. For the Smitten family it has been an extremely tough 2025, and that makes this time of year extra complicated and poignant.
We know we are not alone in this - so we're sending warmth and kindness out to everyone... It can be an emotional time, so you need to be gentle and patient with each other if you can.
Anyway - I really hope for you and your family, you enjoy some delicious time eating and drinking with people you love, and special time doing things that you enjoy, and then some relaxing time too… Phew!!
And DO remember to breathe, deeply, (and the privilege of doing that!) and that it's just ONE day of the year! Enjoy...

Oh - and it was our 35th Wedding Anniversary yesterday - back then in 1990, when we were young and full of hope! ❤️😂 We look a bit different today but very proud of what we've achieved together in 3 and a half decades...
However, the anniversary dinner with plastic cups of soup at the Austin Hospital wasn't quite what I had in mind! Life - full of surprises!!!
But we were together.....
