Winter Solstice Celebrations
Tomorrow is Winter Solstice - that magical, mystical time of year when we have the Longest Night! The plan: We wake up after a very restful sleep, and we celebrate the sun's return to the southern hemisphere, hopefully energised and excited.
Does that celebration involve an icy dip into the ocean for you? Yes - it does for me and Carl! I haven't been in for a LONG time! Wish me luck... He'll be okay, he's been going in every day for months now. I'm just hoping not to have a heart attack!! 😝❤

Wonderful Winter is definitely in the house! As they (?) always say: "As the days grow longer, the cold grows stronger!!"
At least winter makes cooking more fun - having soup bubbling away and carrot muffins in the oven, amazing aromas permeating the kitchen - all much better when there's a chill in the air!
