A friend recommended these to me but I wasn’t sure I could justify the price. Eventually decided to give them a go …. And they are worth every penny! I genuinely don’t want to take them off. They are soft and warm while being lightweight and flexible, and look so flattering. The fleece inside feels fluffy and not scratchy like some thermals can. I am normally a size 12-14Au/UK women’s, and was nervous to order an M worrying they’d be too small. They are actually a bit too roomy! I don’t mind at all as I think they actually look nicer like pants rather than tight leggings so I’m happy with the size, but will probably order small for my next order so they are a bit more fitted for under dresses. The high waist is perfect, sits nicely and doesn’t roll. Keeps kidneys and belly warm too which is perfect. Unlike similar synthetic thermals, these are breathable and don’t make you feel sweaty or overheated, but the fleece helps keep windchill at bay. At the end of each day I normally switch out of my clothes into comfy loungewear, but I really struggle with wanting to take these off at all. Could genuinely live in them so happily. Highly recommend. For reference I’m 5’4 / 164cm and weigh 144lb / 65kg. Comfortably normally a size 12UK / Au in leggings. Size M in these is quite roomy and more like trousers than leggings, which is actually very comfortable and flattering, however for true fitted leggings my advice would be size down. Next purchase I will choose an S. Love these, and would love them in more colours, particularly charcoal, grey marle and teal if they ever make them

Just received my high waisted leggings…fit perfectly 5ft 9 and 70kg..great for my long legs and will be lovely and warm for South Island winters in NZ

This was my first purchase from Smitten back in July 24. I was on the hunt for warm tights to see me through the winter. I am so glad I found Smitten and am only regretful that I had not known about them sooner! These tights are great. I wear them as soon as the temperature drops. They wash well. However I’ve found that they do bag a little with repeated wear (I wear mine basically every day) so not so suited as ‘tights’ for under a dress for example. But bounce back after a wash. My favourite feature is the high waist. There’s no elastic to constrict you in the middle, which I am sensory about. Two thumbs up!

Took these with me on a winter trip to Iceland and they did not disappoint. Beautifully soft so I could wear them all day everyday. Kept me comfortably warm as a baselayer outside and sleek enough to wear on their own inside. Dried overnight after sink washes so these will be a staple in my cold weather travel (and home) wardrobe.

I've got three of these now in different colours. The waist is incredibly comfortable and holds up so well. I'm completely converted to it. They are incredibly warm and versatile. Lots of wears between washes and hold their shape perfectly. I fold up the little extra length and it's not noticeable. I'm a 6 and can wear the 2XS or the XS just fine, but personally prefer the fit of the 2XS in this style and the elastic waist version.
