The dress is lovely. The chilly red is actually nicer/derper than shown on the website, which is better for me :) However, I feel the sizing is a bit small. I'm usually fine with a size 14 in Smitten items. I ordered a size 14 and am finding the sleeves a little tight.

I’ve had my Ellie dresses (Chilli and Storm) for years. I’m wearing the Chilli today and it received three compliments when I popped out to do my grocery shopping.

Brilliant for travel - they’ll take you across seasons and you’ll look fabulous whatever you’re doing (dress them up, dress them down). Awesome in freezing aircon.

I’m going to join the chorus asking for more colours - and I’m eyeing off the black despite a wardrobe heaving with black dresses.

This is my second review of the Ellie dress. It’s a favourite. To my Chilli Red I’ve added it in black and most recently Storm Teal which looked fab for a recent wedding I attended. Need more colours!

I'm a big fan of Ellie dresses and have recently worn them (Blue, Teal and Red) on my trip to Greece and Turkey.
I was there for 17 days and had the different colour dresses on rotation with different coloured Smitten scarves.
They are just perfect for travel and I had so many compliments on them.

I hope you don't discontinue the Ellie dress and make them in other colours.

The Ellie dress in Storm Teal has fast become my favorite Smitten dress. Easy to dress up or down, and loose and comfy. Smitten has become my go to store when I am needing new clothing. It ticks a lot of boxes that I look for in a clothing manufacturer: Locally made and owned, ethical sourcing of materials and treatment of people, natural fibres, and exceptionally well made. I've had some of my Smitten for + 12 years and it's still like new. They are pretty much the only store I buy from now - you cannot go past their quality and friendly staff!
