The Rana is a lovely, flattering top that I have fallen for. Two so far and planning my third. I usually wear a size 12, though through trial and error (I should have read the reviews first) I found the size 8 was the perfect fit for me. My only concern going down two sizes was the length of the sleeve as I have long arms. Thank you Smitten for the generous sleeve length. My wrists won’t be feeling the chill in the colder months in Canberra.

I love all of the rib merino fabric items from Smitten and this is one of the wardrobe staples that you would grow to love and collect over time. It used to be my favourite top (and still is) but I have recently discovered the Flutter 3/4 sleeve top which is ever more flattering and versatile! I wear the Rana top during weekends and my work from home days, and for my work rom office days I would simply layer a blazer or a Drape Cardigan over it. Even when the temperature goes up to 22 to 25 degrees celsius during the day, it is still very comfortable and doesn't overheat.

As for sizing, I have the Rana top in several colours, and a mix of size 6 and size 8. (I am a size 10 in Smitten's jersey material tops and Mary Dress, 170cm, 61kg). I know all the reviews recommend sizing down by 2 sizes, but I like the fit to be more relaxed so I prefer the size 8 on me, over the size 6. In fact the size 8 is more flattering as it drapes more across the shoulder and arms rather than stretching and looking too tight. Size 8 also allows me to layer underneath when it's colder.
